Can not uninstall We-Blocker There is no We-Web program group in the Start Menu to uninstall from. Go to your Windows Start Menu, choose Run, and type in "weuninstall."
Can not uninstall We-Blocker Uninstall program asks for a password and I can't remember it. You will need to contact We-Blocker to get access to your system. (see below)
I cannot access any websites after uninstalling We-Blocker
  • In Internet Explorer, a message appears with the following message: "This page cannot be displayed....."

  • In Netscape, an alert box appears with the following message: "No response from server....."
Select "Direct Connection to the Internet"
  • In Netscape: Edit Menu > Preferences > Advanced > Proxies

  • In Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options > Connections Tab > Settings Button under Dial-Up Settings > UnCheck Proxy Server Box

We-Blocker works in IE but not Netscape I am able to access blocked sites in Netscape but the same site is blocked in Internet Explorer Netscape is installed in a non-standard directory. There are 2 solutions to this problem, depending on how much security you require.
  • Solution 1 (less secure) Manually change the proxy settings Edit Menu > Preferences > Advanced > Proxies > Manual Proxy Configuration > View > HTTP 127.0.0.1 Port 6711

  • Solution 2 (more secure) Uninstall Netscape and re-install in the standard default directory.
I cannot access any websites after uninstalling We-Blocker

We-Blocker proxy setting are incorrect. Your Internet Service Provider does not require a proxy server and the 'Use Proxy Server' box is checked. Uncheck the 'Use Proxy Server' box in the General Tab of your We-Blocker Controls Window.
